FAQs Furrr

Good question, some articles are checked by a vet or veterinary nurse. To find out if it has, then look for a little tick next to the article saying "Vet Approved".

Ask us, we'll do our best to get the information for you. If we don't know we'll ask our vets if they don't know then... well that will be some very specific information, so you may need to talk to a local professional.

While disclaimers are boring, they're important. They help us protect ourselves from people that don't follow the information correctly, or more importantly use advice not suitable for their pet.

All animals are different, and just like seeing a human doctor, any information online might not be suitable for all people. So seeing your local specialist is incredibly important.

In all honesty, if your animal is sick then contact your local vet. It's the quickest and safest way to get the advice you need.

We know sometimes thats not doable, and it's also expensive. This is why we've provided so much information, to help people who can't afford vet care and don't have insurance.

There are my symptoms that are bad, here are a few things that you should likely take your pet to the vets asap:

  • It's non-responsive
  • It's panting uncontrollably,  but it's not been exercising and it's not a hot day.
  • It's constantly being sick and not moving much.
  • It's been in any type of physical accident
  • Excessive blood loss (more than a scratch)
  • It's eaten something it shouldn't

There are much more symptoms, if in doubt phone a local vets.

Simple really, we care about pets and want everyone to have access to great information. We are launching our own pet insurance service, but thats truthfully second to our greater goal of providing amazing pet information, tips and tricks.
